- How accurate is the identification?
- Coin type, era, date and mint mark are read from your two scans and reconciled against our reference catalog. When the catalog has authoritative specifications for the match, those values are used instead of the model's estimate, and the result screen labels which fields are catalog-verified.
- Is the grade an official certification?
- No. The grade is an automated estimate from wear-pattern analysis and is intended to guide you. For insurance, resale at auction or high-value coins, submit the coin to a recognised third-party grading service.
- Where do the values come from?
- Value ranges are built from recently observed auction and sold-listing data for the identified coin at the estimated grade, and are compared against the coin's intrinsic metal (melt) value. Ranges are estimates and move with the market.
- Why was my scan rejected before it was processed?
- Each image is checked on your device for exposure, focus and whether the coin rim is fully inside the targeting rings. Rejecting a bad frame early means you do not spend a scan on an image the engine cannot read.
- How many free scans do I get?
- New accounts include 10 dual-side scans. Your remaining scans are shown on your account page.
- Who can see my collection?
- Your vault, scans and valuations are private to your account. Nothing becomes public until you create a marketplace listing or share a certificate link.
- Can I export or delete my data?
- Yes. Your account page has a one-tap JSON export of everything tied to your account, and a deletion option that removes your scans, images, vault, listings and sign-in identity.
- Do you offer API access?
- Dealers and platforms can license white-label grading and price-data endpoints with per-key rate limits. Contact us to request access.
